Best ways to avoid a SCAM:
-Missulu will never ask you for financial information. We do not cold call any user.
-Never agree to ship an item, face-to-face is always the way to go.
-Never send money to any user/organization.
-Never accept money orders or cashier checks. There are too many ways for these to
be faked. If you must, wait until your financial institution clears them before
releasing your item to the buyer.
-Never take a payment over the price you asked and return the difference to the 'buyer'.
-Never reveal banking, financial, or personal information to a stranger.
-In the case of titled property (cars, homes, etc.), never purchase from a person
whose name is not on the title.
-Never exchange money without a receipt or title.
-Never purchase an item you can not inspect personally.
-Never reveal your drivers license number or social security number through mail, email,
phone calls or any other unnecessary contacts.
-Always meet in a public location, police stations are very good for this. If that isn't
possible, always have someone else accompany you. Never meet alone!
-Never prepay for property without verifying ownership.
-If the price seems 'to good to be true', assume it is!
-Always remember, your safety is the most important thing! Nothing listed on this website
is worth taking a risk!
-As always, please let us know if something doesn't feel legal or right about an ad!
Missulu is designed to be a safe place, if at any time you feel someone
using the site violates the TOU please let us know!

Taking precautions can help you protect your identity:
Regularly monitor your credit score.
